To obtain a card, you’ll need to present picture identification with your current mailing address – if your ID does not show your current address, we require that a piece of mail, lease, etc, with your accurate address be presented along with your ID. You will be asked to fill out an application, which will be processed immediately. Juveniles age 5 – 17 may get a library card provided that their parent or legal guardian is present and can fulfill the aforementioned requirements, or has a Samuels Library card in good standing.

Your pin number is the last 4 digits of the primary phone number you submitted on your library card application. Circulation staff will happily assist should you desire to change your pin number.
I've lost my card! What do I do?
If you misplace your card, a replacement may be purchased for $1. If your card is lost or stolen, report it to us immediately so we can take the appropriate measures to prevent anyone else from using your account.

Sizable donations may be made via credit/debit cards, however account payments must be cash or check.
Can I get on a payment plan?
Patrons do have the option of getting on a payment plan - this will allow patrons to check out one item at a time on their card, and they will be allowed computer access. You must be able to pay at least $5 when you first sign up for the plan. There are no set due dates or amounts for your payments, the only stipulation is that the entire amount must be paid within four months of setting up the plan. If you do not pay off your account once the payment plan has expired, your library privileges will be suspended until the entire amount due has been paid. If your payment plan has been suspended, the entire amount left on your account must be paid before you will be able to use your card again and you cannot start a new one to pay off the remaining fees.
