Borrowing Loan Periods

Books, audiocassettes, and paperbacks may be borrowed for two weeks. These items may be renewed twice (unless another patron has requested a reserve). There are three ways to renew your items: online from your home computer by logging into www.samuelslibrary.net, at the library, or by calling 635-3153. Video tapes and DVD's may be borrowed for a two week period also, but cannot be renewed.

Fines and Fees

For each day a book, audiocassette, paperback or CD is overdue, your library account will be charged $.10 a day for each late item. Video tapes and DVD's will be assessed at $.10 per day late. Fines for interlibrary loans accrue at the rate of $.25 for each day late.

Computer Access and Internet Use

The library currently maintains 30 computers for public access. 10 of these are located in the children's and young adult area and provide educational games, reference files and word processing capabilities.
