Medical personnel from St. Luke Community Clinic will be here in the cafe area to check and monitor your blood pressure free-of-charge. Note: Takes place most Tuesdays of every month - if personnel are not here, blood pressure checks are available any day of the week at St. Luke Community Clinic. You do not need to be a patient there to take advantage of this service.

Free Rapid HIV & HCV Testing

Valley Health Link's ARE Outreach team will conduct free rapid HIV and Hepatitis-C Testing at Samuel Library. Testing is confidential and private with results available in 20 minutes. We all have a status! Do you know yours? Be aware, take care of your sexual health.

This is a group for those who wish to talk seriously about a variety of topics. Refreshments will be provided. This month, join Monica Farrall, Educational Outreach Coordinator, as she takes a short, fun look at 4 major personality categories which have an animal likeness: the lion, the otter, the golden retriever, and the beaver. Each animal has different temperaments and characteristics which make it special and unique; just like each of us. Have fun improving your Spanish through catchy, modern songs sung in Spanish. This is an Intermediate Spanish Class for people comfortable with the class being taught only in Spanish. The instructor is Helena Logan, a native Spanish speaker from Columbia and Spanish language teacher at Warren County High School. This special four-session workshop is part of Helena's Spanish Language and Culture Master degree program thesis but is appropriate for any adult with some Spanish knowledge who is willing to learn and have fun.
